DATA Programs » In Home/Onsite Services
In Home/Onsite Services (IHOS) focus on reducing risk factors generally associated with the progression of substance use and mental health problems. Adults and adolescents admitted to this program are provided services in their homes or locations of their choosing that are safe and provide adequate assurance of confidentiality. Therapists utilize evidence-based strategies including Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when providing in home/onsite services.
Individuals are referred to in home/onsite services through various means including the TASC program, DJJ, law enforcement, parents/guardians, self-referral, etc. Screening and assessment services occur to determine whether the program is an appropriate placement for the client. Those clients who are eligible for services and are admitted to treatment undergo an in depth assessment in order to identify strengths, abilities, needs, and preferences. The results of the assessment process facilitate the creation of a collaboratively developed intervention plan that is reviewed regularly and guides the course of treatment. The ultimate goal of the program is successful completion and sustained recovery. Therapists are responsible for promoting participation in prosocial activities and confirming linkages to other support services.
